ODDS FAVOUR EAGLES AHEAD ALGERIA CLASH -OWALABI

Former international Felix Owolabi has charged Super Eagles technical crew to resist the temptation to reveal all tactics ahead of the November 12 showdown against Algeria in Uyo.  The team according to him is currently in a good footing following the away victory in Ndola against Zambia, adding that it is important to maintain the tempo and consolidate.
"After subduing the Zambian national team at home and leading the group Eagles occupy a vintage position and will have to consolidate "he said even as he challenged authorities to ensure that the team gets maximum support.
"On fears in some quarters that minimal playing time enjoyed by team captain John Obi Mikel at Chelsea may affect his  performance, Owo-blow as he was fondly called during his playing days in the National team, dismissed the fears insisting that a good and experienced player is always an asset to the team
"Sometimes in real match situation you see a player who may not have be playing regularly rising to the occasion, if Mikel is not getting enough playing time in Chelsea it does not mean he cannot perform for the national team, it doesn’t follow.
The former 3SC and defunct Raccah Rovers ace expressed delight at the return of Victor Moses from injury, describing him as a dependable team player.

MOSES DREAMS JOSE DEFEAT AT THE BRIDGE

Nothing will gladden the heart of Nigeria international Victor Moses than to see former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho suffer a resounding defeat at the Bridge on Sunday (today). Moses who was mostly on loan while Jose was at the helm at the Bridge has not forgotten the bitter experience, noting that the former coach exiled him at Chelsea because "he had his own players"
A re-invigorated  Moses who shone like a million stars grabbing a goal in Chelsea 3-0 demolition of Leicester City, expressed delight that the new coach Antonio Conte has given him an opportunity to prove himself at the Bridge.
Moses is expected to keep his place in the Chelsea starting XI on the right of Conte's new 3-4-3 formation.
Asked if Jose had explained the decision to send him on loan to Liverpool, Stock City and West Ham respectively, the Super Eagles forward told ESPN  "I thought in my head, 'He's got his own players already'.
"I think we chatted a couple of times on the phone -- he asked if I was alright at Liverpool [where Moses spent the 2013-14 season on loan], but that was it."
Conte revealed after last Saturday's 3-0 win over Leicester City that he requested the chance to assess Moses in preseason when he began his duties as Chelsea head coach in July, and the Nigeria international says his new boss quickly made it clear that he was a fan.
"The manager came to me and said, 'I feel that you're working hard, I really enjoy watching you play and I don't want you to go out on loan'," Moses enthused.
"When he said that to me, I was really pleased.   To be honest, I just want to go out there, enjoy my football and work hard for him. He's played the game before, he understands it and he understands how players feel.

NOV 12 SHOWDOWNl MOSES FIRES WARNING SHOT

Super Eagles forward Victor Moses announced his bounce back from injury with a bang as he grabbed the third goal in Chelsea's demolition of Leicester City at the Stamford Bridge Saturday.
Moses who incidentally missed Nigeria's World Cup qualifier away against Zambian in Ndola in controversial circumstances produced a perfect move to net the goal that attracted standing ovation from Blues fans and analysts alike. Moses who got a starting shirt in the encounter was in action for 82 minutes getting his goal in the 80th minute and bowing out two minutes later to make way for Nigerian born Blues defender Olaoluwa Aina.
An elated Moses did not hide his satisfaction with his performance as he dished out shortly after the match
"Fantastic team performance today great to get another win & buzzing to score.Would like to dedicate the win to Willian and his family today"
Although Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr still basking in the euphoria of his team's 2-1 defeat of Chipolopolo had frowned and even toyed with the idea of sanction against Victor Moses and Isaac Success for missing the Ndola tie, strong indications abound that the duo will be handed opportunity ahead of the November 12 clash against Desert Warriors of Algeria in Uyo. Chelsea's 3-0 defeat of Leicester is almost like a replay of September 24th when Arsenal hit Chelsea 3-0 at the Emirates with Moses as an unused substitute. While Moses sang the victory song, same could not be said of compatriot Ahmed Musa who saw 67minutes action but met stumbling block in Chelsea’s defence .
