FA CUP FINAL: IFEANYIUBAH VOWS TO RE-WRITE HISTORY
Strong indications abound that supporters of IfeanyiUbah FC will take the Teslim Balogun by storm for Sunday's FA Cup final against Nasarawa United.
This follows club and proprietor’s decision to specially invite fans of the club to the final while thanking them
for the support they have given so far.
Proprietor of the club Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah took to the social media Wednesday to thank the fans for their massive support while urging them to be part of a resolve to re-write history on Sunday.
"This is to appreciate our teeming fans for their unflinching support all season. Kindly join me @ TBS this Sunday as we re-write history," he said
Club management following same foot step, reminded the supporters that victory on Sunday will hand the Anambra based side CAF Confederation Cup ticket. “We call on you to join us on a trip to Lagos as our dear Anambra Warriors trade tackles with Nasarawa United on Sunday at 3pm" the management added
IfeanyiUbah who finished in the fourth place in the premier league log with 56 points in 36 matches are eager to earn a continental ticket to join Rangers International, Rivers United and Wikki Tourist who have bagged the green light to represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions league and Confederation Cup respectively.
Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode had earlier directed that the gates of Teslim Balogun Stadium be thrown open to enable sports lovers savor the usual razzmatazz associated with the Federation cup.
Akwa United won the last edition of the FA Cup after defeating Lobi Stars 2-1 at the same venue.
